Our team of experienced building consultants will then provide some design suggestions and begin to create a 3D model of the building proposal. Once we’ve narrowed down the basic design, we go over the optional features for each building style. After the customer has made all the design decisions, we will be able to provide the customer with an exact written and professionally organized quote for their review. If multiple quotes are required, it’s not a problem for our team to create alternate versions of the building.

More to say:-). After such great service and professionalism with our barn, we decided to get a metal carport too. The installers showed up on time and did a fantastic job of placing the carport on our prepared pad. They worked with us to be sure it was in the correct spot and watching the process was truly fascinating. We now have a great carport that will be there for a very long time.

I got a custom barn made 12 x40 took 4 to 6 weeks to get made. The quality of the barn is amazing. And the delivery went smooth. My schedule was the same as there hours and he was nice enoff to come in early to work up a price for me on what I wanted thank you Hinton Buildings

We purchased a shed a year ago at the Princeton, NC location and I want to share the experience. We visited and, while we did not see what we wanted on the lot (and there are a diverse number of designs in the lot), we took a look at build quality and were pleased with what we saw. We sat down with Mackenzie (a really nice person) to design a building and this is where our experience really begins. She helped design exactly what we needed, answered all of our questions, made positive suggestions, and was completely honest. What she did not do was to try to sell us things we did not want or need. Her quote was very competitive. She kept us informed as to building progress and delivery date. She even sent me a Christmas note. I met the owner while waiting for my shed to arrive and he also is very customer oriented.

The building was delivered on the day it was promised. The driver placed it exactly where I wanted it, leveled it, made sure the window and door operated properly (he adjusted the door), and made sure I was happy before he left. Another great person to work with.

Here are my shed observations a year later: very well built, all quality straight wood, square and level, no sags or squeeks. Shelving and mounting brackets were easy to install as was vinyl plank flooring and a solar/battery fan. There is no rust on any of the hinges, brackets, or nail heads. Support materials are quality. It looks good. My neighbor purchased a larger shed with electrical and insulation from Hinton before I did and he is very happy with it.

Summary: quality product, quality people, fair price (lower than others I looked at prior to my purchase), easy to customize, and they still consider you a customer after purchase and delivery. I have sent two others to Hinton and they are happy with their experiences. Alot of companies sell sheds and I cannot speak on how they do business. I will say that the drive to Hinton and working with Mackenzie are worth your time and they will do their best to provide exactly what you need and deliver it in a reasonable amount of time.

So my experience was very simple and quick. I used their building design program online and submitted it for a quote. Jamie contacted me and we went over the design thru email and made a couple changes to the design. I brought them my deposit and within a few weeks the installers came and put it up. Purchased a 10x16 from Hinton back in March. Jamie was wonderful to work with very responsive. My building was a year old when I purchased it and I have had it 4 months so far and still can not find any fault in the build quality. I did the rent to own 90 days same as cash even though I had already planned to get my own financing, I did this trying to make sure no one else purchased it before I could get it financed. I was a little skeptical looking at reviews I seen on the rent to own agency but it all turned out ok and I financed it through my bank and paid off the rent to own agency with no issues. I would not hesitate to purchase again from Hinton Buildings but get my own financing first and pay them in full at time of purchase. The guys that set it up and tied it down did an awesome job. Happy Customer!!

Hinton Buildings Opens First Location

In 2015, after returning from working four years in Afghanistan, owner Ryan Malham (against the wishes of his wife, Christy) moved forward with selling wooden and metal buildings at the Princeton location. Things did not go well. After poor sales and lots of frustrating days without sales, Ryan eventually had to return to contracting in Afghanistan. He and Christy made an agreement about when he could return. She would work to learn how to sell buildings and he would work to build the website and Facebook marketing from his tiny room in Kabul.

We are a Family Run Business Built to Help Other Families

Eventually, after 18 months, Christy was able to consistently sell enough buildings to match Ryan’s contracting income. In November of 2016, Ryan returned from Afghanistan and began to supercharge the business by also making sales. The duo were open seven days per week working together to sell as many buildings as possible.

They were awarded with the $1 Million Dollar annual sales award from Old Hickory Buildings and were in the top 10 dealers in North America. With over 900 dealers in the Old Hickory Buildings network, that’s quite an accomplishment. Each year since, they have consistently sold over $2 million in wooden buildings. In recent years, they have reached over $3 million in sales!
