We returned at a different time to make our purchase, based on our original conversation with the staff. The same staff member was available, from our original meeting, and was just as personable and helpful, the second time. Would definitely recommend this company.

I got a custom barn made 12 x40 took 4 to 6 weeks to get made. The quality of the barn is amazing. And the delivery went smooth. My schedule was the same as there hours and he was nice enoff to come in early to work up a price for me on what I wanted thank you Hinton Buildings

Special ordered a lofted barn with an expected delivery date of 4-6 weeks. It was delivered in under 4 weeks. We were very impressed with the whole process. Jamie made the whole process seamless and the delivery drivers were wonderful.

I found myself in need of a steel storage building on my growing farm. After reading a number of horror stories about several steel building dealers and suppliers that included poor workmanship, slipping schedules and out of control costs, I was more than a little apprehensive. Then, I came across Hinton Buildings. Their website included an easy to use design tool that made visualizing my proposed building very easy. After designing the building, I submitted it for a quote. I had a response the following morning, and I was impressed with the degree of professionalism that I encountered.I spoke with Mackenzie in the sales department, and she was a real pleasure to work with. She was responsive to all of my questions and concerns, and went way above and beyond the call to help me work through some design concerns. Dealing with Hinton Buildings in general and Mackenzie specifically made the whole process easy. My steel building was manufactured by NC Carports and Garages, and they were very nearly as good to deal with as was Hinton Buildings. My building was put up on my concrete slab in the timeframe that was promised to me. The only hiccup in the whole process was a delay in getting the rollup doors, which was a supply chain issue that we've all come to be familiar with.I would not hesitate to recommend Hinton Buildings to anyone who is in the market for a steel building. I know I'll be reaching out to them again if I find a need for another building on my farm.
After poor customer service at another dealer, I looked at the review for Hinton Wooden & Metal Buildings - Dunn and the first thing I read was something like “we drove in the driveway and they came out to greet us”. That is EXACTLY what happened when my husband and I drove into the driveway. Mark has outstanding customer service skills. He was able to gently guide us through the process of buying a great little barn, complete with a front porch (they call it the Playhouse). It was affordable and the process was easy from purchase to delivery (David, the delivery man was phenomenal too). We actually just got back from purchasing a carport also. Can’t say enough good about Mark and Hinton Wooden & Metal Buildings. Don’t look anywhere else:-)More to say:-). After such great service and professionalism with our barn, we decided to get a metal carport too. The installers showed up on time and did a fantastic job of placing the carport on our prepared pad. They worked with us to be sure it was in the correct spot and watching the process was truly fascinating. We now have a great carport that will be there for a very long time.

I had a 30x30x12 three sided shed erected today from Hinton Buildings. A three man crew came from NC Carports and Garages to erect my building. It really did my heart good to see three young men work so hard together. They took pride in what they were doing and treated every stage of the erection process just like it was their own building they were putting together. When they arrived yesterday afternoon to start and again this morning, as soon as they got here they were out of the truck, got out their tools and tool belts and went straight to work. They only stopped today to eat lunch for about 20 minutes. No breaks, no standing around talking- just plain hard work and they seemed to enjoy every minute of it. Plus they cleaned up every scrap of material and left the area better than when they arrived. These three young men definitely set the bar mighty high for other young men to follow.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️24x41x14 travel trailer, tow vehicle, shop and storage.We had settled on a local company in WNC. Then the shut down happened 😷 and our slab took longer and put the build date back. I came across Hinton Wooden and Metal Buildings on Facebook. I gave Christy a call. After several emails and phone calls, her quote was $3k 🤑 less and that was with 2 additional windows and insulation in roof, above the local company. The response time from Christy with emails and getting info back was very impressive to me.😁 I had a question about the installers having insurance, she gave me the manufacturer’s # (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) and I had my answer and COI by the end of day. 😁the manufacturer took less time to put it together and schedule than she had said. The installers (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) showed up 4 hrs early. 😊 4 guys worked very hard all day and into the night. They came back the next day put the roof on and some trim and finished.There are a lot of metal building company out there. I know because I got quotes from about 15-20 of them. They take the time a really give customers what they need and want. They go through options to make sure you get what you want. We were 99.9% sure we would need to be a build on site due to our backyard but they sent out their driver before we even purchased a building just to make sure. You can tell they love their business and would only sell you something they would be happy to own as well!

Purchased a 10x16 from Hinton back in March. Jamie was wonderful to work with very responsive. My building was a year old when I purchased it and I have had it 4 months so far and still can not find any fault in the build quality. I did the rent to own 90 days same as cash even though I had already planned to get my own financing, I did this trying to make sure no one else purchased it before I could get it financed. I was a little skeptical looking at reviews I seen on the rent to own agency but it all turned out ok and I financed it through my bank and paid off the rent to own agency with no issues. I would not hesitate to purchase again from Hinton Buildings but get my own financing first and pay them in full at time of purchase. The guys that set it up and tied it down did an awesome job. Happy Customer!!

They did a decent job. I wasn't thrilled that they told me the dimensions changed after they arrived, I paid extra money to fix the problem. It took them until 10:30 pm. I felt bad for the workers because they could barely see to complete the job correctly and they needed to be at their next job. The workers were polite and seemed to know what they know what they were doing. Prior to installation, they didn't explain that I would have a roll up door, which is impossible to get a garage door opener for. If I understood some of these things I would have made different choices for the garage door. Now I'm stuck with a roll up a garage door that I can't get anyone to install an opener for. And a garage the is not exactly level. Not extremely happy with the entire situation. The best situation would have been to have hisomeone come out , exame the site discuss with me the parameters and what my needs were, this would have made the overall outcome perfect.
Hinton buildings was the company that I bought the building from, got the loan from and all, and they had the money in their account, not me, but when the cement guy poured the cement he wanted me to pay him, and when the ones that built the building finished they wanted me to pay them too. Also the cement guy told me that the price for the cement was $1,500 less than his original quote but I had to contact Hinton buildings to ask for the $1,500 refund. They are just a middle man making money and not very good customer service or communication with their contractors. I will not recommend them to anyone. I have had a few people ask me where I got my building and I told them the story and suggested they contract the cement and building out themselves and save about $5-$6k.
Arrived around 4:30. I called the phone number on the sign and nobody picked up, there wasn’t any literature in the holders for me to look at, there wasn’t any prices posted. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
